Documentary review requests

Requests concerning CBAM, Digital Product Passport, Customs Reform or other supported regulatory frameworks should be submitted through the secure WEETRA review process.

Please note

A request initiates an independent documentary review. It does not guarantee acceptance of the engagement or any particular methodological finding.

How an engagement starts

  1. Scoping exchange. The perimeter concerned, the regimes involved, and the documents that exist today.
  2. Depth selection. A Pre-Diagnostic where the state of the file is unknown, or a Level I to III review where the perimeter is already defined.
  3. Controlled ingestion. Documents are inventoried and fingerprinted on receipt, and the review workflow opens.

Where the state of a file is genuinely unknown, a Pre-Diagnostic is usually the appropriate entry point: it establishes whether a full review is warranted and at what depth, without committing to a perimeter that may turn out to be wrong.

Institutional principles

Independence

Every review is conducted independently from commercial interests and regulatory decision-making.

Confidentiality

Information provided within a review engagement is handled according to strict confidentiality principles.

Methodological Neutrality

WEETRA documents observations and methodological findings without advocating predetermined outcomes.

Structured Communication

Each enquiry is directed to the appropriate institutional or methodological channel.

Response expectations

Typical acknowledgement: within two business days. Review requests: initial qualification after reception of the relevant documentation. More complex institutional enquiries may require additional time depending on their scope.

Please note

These indications describe usual practice. They do not constitute guaranteed response times.

Whether your organisation wishes to discuss a documentary review, an institutional collaboration or a methodological question, WEETRA will direct your enquiry through the appropriate review or communication process.

Institutional boundary

WEETRA Organization is an independent methodological body. It is not a governmental body, regulatory agency, or competent body within the meaning of any EU regulation. Nothing on this page constitutes legal, tax, or compliance advice.

WEETRA does not provide certification, accredited verification, legal advice, customs representation or any guarantee of regulatory acceptance. Final decisions on the admissibility of data remain exclusively within the jurisdiction of competent authorities.
